I just wrote a review on 3 Asolo hiking boots. I wrote these reviews geared toward women, however all three have male counterparts. Either one of these would provide excellent traction on wet and slippery surfaces. Best thing these are made for hiking and backpacking, not hunting like everyone else has suggested. They will keep you dry and comfortable for long distances on the trail. I especially like the new Asolo Shelter GTX. A little on the heavy side but will provide excellent traction.
