		<description>&lt;b&gt;I own a pair of  ...&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br&gt; I own a pair of  Hi-Tec walking boots and have never experienced a problem with the papery under sole.I am guessing that the material they use changes from time to time and luckily I got the better one.I agree with what you said about GoreTex though! at max I go for a water resistant boots that  handle wet grass a small puddles but let water out if you go wading.
If its not too cold, I wear jungle boots without a Vibram sole (vibram sole not good for rocks) they let water in but  water out.</description>

		<description>&lt;b&gt;im hiking in merrel ...&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br&gt; im hiking in merrel camelleons and a pair of sorrel books they seem to work well for me i hike in montana and idaho/wyoming tetons i dont ul backpack becuase most of my stuff is army issue like my alice pack ive crushed my heel two years ago and if anyone knows of some good insoles that would help plz. let me know nice reveiw though and i agree with most everything said even though my boots are goretex (for snow) and my shoes have vibram 
 (but are good and comfy on my heel)</description>
