I feel like all I see are the suede boots (like Uggs which aren’t specifically meant for snow–i know you can waterproof them but ehh, I’d still not want to ruin them), or UGLY, big, heavy snow boots that resemble hiking boots or something–not exactly for everyday use to go to class or the store.

There are plenty of dressy versions of the waterproof welly – I have a pair from Dior I like, except I rarely find myself wearing them in town because I feel naked withourt a heel:

I love the idea of waterproof thigh highs,especially because I like to wear skirts in the winter and csan use the warmth, but its been difficult to find the right pair. This pair caught my eye and I may go ahead and buy them if nothing else comes along soon:
