Anybody know the best brand of hiking boots?
I’m going on a hiking trip and I need the most durable kind.
I would pick Vasque, also. I’ve had mine for years and they have been thru alot 
You should break them in for sure before you go. It may take some time, especially if you are not used to hiking boots.
I didn’t get any special insole for mine. But you should keep them waterproofed, you can get the wax from the shoe store.

If you do real hiking (like, in the mountains on a trail or something), you’ll want to spend a little more.
If you have an REI nearby, stop and talk with them about boots. They’re not the cheapest place but they will give you good advice.
